I worked there in 1950 for an elderly lady, her son and wife lived next door. ( don’t remember their names) 15 shillings a week plus board, my only day off started at 2pm on a Wednesday. I was 15 yrs old. All dogs and cats really well looked after. A great experience, 35 yrs later I ran my own boarding kennel on Vancouver Island, Canada.
